Will Bunch: The 26 Percent Solution

Will Bunch: The 26 Percent Solution.
If you look at poll after poll that asks questions about the far right you will find that they make up 26% of Americans and that their views are very radical.
26% of Americans believe the following
that Acorn stole the last presidential election,
there should be no health care over haul,
that we shouldn’t sign the Kyoto accord.
and even at his lowest rating 26% of American’s approved of the job George W. Bush was doing.
Will doesn’t have the poll listed in his article but I pretty much think that you will find that 26% of American believe that President Obama wasn’t born in the US, and that he is a Muslim. Also, I think that if somebody polls it you will find that this same radical 26% believes that Sarah Palin would be a good president.
The problem is that no matter how crazy that this radical 26% is, they are voting as one block and they are voting in every primary. The entire reason that not a single Republican is voting for this health care reform that 70% of Americans support is because of this one single voting block. The radical 26% have highjacked the Republican party and they are destroying our country in the process. The media pundits that control this radical group, Rush, Beck, Hannity, and Palin are all more interested in cashing in on this group than they are the governess of this country. The more they radicalize this group the more their ratings go up and the more books they sell.
I really wish someone would profile just who these people are. I would guess 30-60 year old white middle class suburbanites but that just maybe my experience.
What do you think?
